One of the very tricky areas of the market and learning how to trade is "practice". What do I mean? Given the way are brains work as human beings, when you put yourself in certain situations it will lead to false confidence. It will cause you to believe you are a better trader than what you are. In order to best understand the markets and ensure you give yourself true clarity and confidence, you must be fully aware of what hindsight bias is and how it works.

This is one of those videos that I had zero plans of making…
Until a member of the community mentioned something in our chatroom that literally had me read the comment multiple times to ensure I was understanding it properly…
I’ll be the first to admit that from a marketing standpoint, it’s brilliant and props to the broker who is doing it.
BUT…. from the viewpoint we should all care about, as traders, it has disaster written all over it.
Sure…. on the surface it looks like a great deal and a low risk way to practice the markets, but looks can be deceiving.
Putting yourself into situations like THIS must be avoided at all costs.
Unfortunately, as nice as they sound, they are completely counterproductive in accomplishing our true goals as traders: being consistent.
