Investing 101: Don’t Be a Liar (to yourself)
Monday Nov 28, 2022
Monday Nov 28, 2022
If you want to have success with your investing and trading, as obvious as it may see, you can not be a liar to yourself! I realize that when we all get started in investing and trading, it seems like such a silly thing to do, to lie to oneself. I assure you, it happens all the time and most people are not even aware of it. I admit, as of now I’m “saying stuff”, but let me show you a real world example of exactly what I mean. As you’ll see, this person is being a liar to themselves and it’s not going to do them any good in the long run. It’s okay to make mistakes and be wrong as an investor. But, you need to be honest to yourself and admit when a trade idea and investment is not correct.

Jeff Bezos Says, “Slow Your Spending”… idiot critics…
Wednesday Nov 23, 2022
Wednesday Nov 23, 2022
When Jeff Bezos speaks, I listen. Take note though, I did not say “follow what is said”, I just say “listen to what is said”. I have a long standing policy that when people such as Jeff Bezos speak, it’s worth taking time to listen. Just because someone is successful does not mean you should blindly follow what they say. You need to do a bit of thinking on your part to see if you agree. Jeff Bezos is recommending people slow their spending, and this has rubbed some people the wrong way. This has caused the critics to come crawling out from their rocks and offer up, well, not very convincing arguments. Whether or not you like Jeff Bezos has nothing to do with the money management suggestions he is making. As hard at it can be at times, we need to avoid ad homenium (focusing on the person instead of the argument). Let’s hear what Bezos has to say and the also consider what the critics have to say.

The time is coming! You better be ready with your cash. Currently, I am circling the sky's like a vulture observing my future prey getting weaker and weaker. For those of us who have been hoarding cash, the signs of opportunity seem to be growing closer and closer. Whether you are looking to pick up some assets for wealth building at a cheaper price or expand your portfolios in other ways, the data is signaling the time is soon! Let’s cover some of this new data and how it is showing the doors of opportunity.

Corporate Greed? Ask THIS One Question
Friday Nov 18, 2022
Friday Nov 18, 2022
If you come across someone blaming inflation or any kind of price increases on “corporate greed”, I want you to ask them this one question. By asking this question, you will open up a pathway that, assuming they’re open minded and willing to listen, will bring a whole lot of clarity to their understanding of the topic. I understand. When prices go up everyone feels it and it is very easy to let emotions take over and throw accusations around. Unfortunately, as they normally do, emotions cause people to create blind spots in their logic and force them to rely heavily on confirmation bias within their own thinking. Let’s talk some basic economics and how asking a single and simple question can establish common ground and point us in the right direction of actual solutions.

Who Promoted FTX Crypto Exchange? A lesson
Wednesday Nov 16, 2022
Wednesday Nov 16, 2022
The FTX Crpto Exchange crash/scandal/scam has been in news headlines around the world. It’s a messy situation that continues to get messier as more details are discovered. My question to you is this: who promoted FTX? While I will not go as far as implying any of these people had malicious intent or knew they were in bed with a disaster, there are still some very big question marks. There are some lessons to keep in mind moving forward when you consider that some of the biggest “financial gurus” in the influencer world were touting this company. Be warned moving forward…

Believe it or not, the $170,000 in car loans is not even the most shocking part of this real life situation. If you want to find success in the world of day trading, you need to make your life as easy as possible in other “areas” of life. As you’ll see, this person is making their life very difficult when in all actuality, it should be smooth sailing. The moral here is simple. What you see this person doing, please… do the opposite!

I Don’t Understand Socialism?
Friday Nov 11, 2022
Friday Nov 11, 2022
One of my favorite economic talking points is that of socialism. I find it interesting to hear other people’s thoughts and opinions on it. In doing so over the years, I’ve come to hear several variations of it and how socialism works. In one of my newest talks with a believer in socialism, I am told I don’t understand socialism. I am told that I am just a puppet of the media and am regurgitating what was told to me. That’s a fair point and I’m willing to admit it is possible, so I asked for clarification. Needless to say, this person never said the quiet part out loud, but they got close… let’s talk about it.

My Detailed Long Term Investing Strategy - CLICK HERE (https://courses.moneywithclay.com/p/grow-rich)
An unavoidable requirement in becoming a consistent and successful trader is building a trading strategy. I’ve been on YouTube since 2013 and been in the teaching space for just as long. I say this not because it guarantees I know anything, but I do have almost a decade of interacting with new traders and have noticed some common themes amongst them. In fact, when I reflect back on my own journey, I am guilty of falling into this same “trap”. What is this “trap”? How does it work? How can you recognize it within your own journey? I will cover these questions and more.
