What is Trading Confirmation Bias?

In the world of psychology, confirmation bias is a concept and topic that is considered pretty basic. Even though it is basic human psychology, the craziness it can lead to and cause in the world of the financial markets is staggering. As much as I wish I could say this whole example was fake, it is not and it does a perfect example of just how drastic confirmation biases can affect people when it comes to money.
