Learn To Trade Stocks and Options

Want the truth on trading? It’s easy to talk about all the luxuries that can come with trading… I mean, that does make any sales pitch being given much easier; however, it’s only a half-truth. The reality of the situation is that there are quite a few things that need to happen before anyone is going to be living the lifestyle that so many like to portray. I talk about those “things” in this video.

Why is the success rate for traders only at 10%? I will explain using some pretty common sense logic; however, it was not “common sense” to me when I first started trading. Luckily, I realized it very quickly and escaped the trader death trap.

The term pump-and-dump is usually associated with penny stocks, but rest assured, these scenarios unfold in the world of big board stocks too.

Understanding this concept is critical for two simple reasons. First, by avoiding them you are going to save money. Pretty straight forward. Second, if you love to short stocks like I do, these technical chart set-ups can be very profitable.

In this video I describe a “real life” pump-and-dump that occurred on this big board stock. The beautiful thing here is none of this is being talked about in hindsight (those are the worst kinds of examples!). As you will see, I alerted the pump-and-dump to my private trading group chat room BEFORE the crash happened.

Be careful out there. The stock market is a dangerous place and there are traps all over the place.

I will be the first to raise my hand and admit I did plenty of dumb things when I first started trading; however, the one thing I did do right was not create excuses. There are two excuses that I hear all the time… over…and over… and over again. Well, I’m here to tell you they are not valid excuses.

One quick note. The alert actually deals with shorting. Shorting is one of my favorite strategies and I do it quite frequently; however, if you are unsure of what it is, simply put: shorting allows you to make money when prices go down.

I try my best to give a realistic and honest view of stock trading. There are so many people out there trying to sell you stuff and the majority of the time all that is presented is the warm-and-fuzzy part of trading.

I realize I also have products and service to sell, however, I believe my testimony base has grown due to the fact that I keep expectations in line with reality.

Do charts work? Yes! Is it a realistic possibility to make good money trading? Yes! Is it important to learn how to read charts for success in managing risk and trading? Yes! Is trading an exact science where everything always goes perfectly on every trade? No!
